So who won?

Firstly, is there anyone left standing?

Who grew the tallest? What do you think was the key to your success or lack there of?

Coming Out and Getting High.

Recently I've heard that Rob O has planted his sunflower, I think still unnamed and having a crisis of identity probably, outside. Margaret and the school Children have their sunflowers going well in the greenhouse. Boris and Apollo are still being pampered inside but have shown real improvements since repotting and the recent introduction of Baby Bio into their diet*, and are looking strong without any supporting canes. However Boris is showing some withered and unhealthy leaves.

Elsewhere, I hear that the Wallace Avenue 'herb' garden is florishing, it won't be long until Rob starts making special brownies for Reach!

*BabyBio can kill your plant!

The Battler

Boris looks a little ill of late. His leaves are withering and he's looking a little unsteady. At only a few inches tall he is definately not the tallest, but I argue that he is the bravest. After being planted and 'born' upside down it was always going to be a struggle. The seed leaves were actually open before it he had breached the soil surface. Then he suffered a great fall from the window sill on the floor but again came through. I believe the lack and poor quality of soil is causing his current poor form. But remember: this little russian is going to kick your lankey gloating arse.

And I Shall Call Him...

BORIS! An appropriate name I believe as we have planted 'Russian Giant' type sunflower seeds. The name means 'fighter or battler', which it will have to be if it is going to be the grandest of all. Boris is yet to breach the soil's surface; I like to think that he is hiding away to devise a victorious masterplan and will later come shooting through and not stop going.
